  anyone else out there land on a psych ward after being df'd???

  its a long story that starts with panic attacks going door to door and ended with a 2 month vacation in the cornwall on.

  psych floor for two months.

  i was stalked by the elders for 3 years after i stopped going to meetings.

  Cold Reading and the supernatural

  i just finished doing a consultation with a woman who is still struggling with guilt and manipulation left over from the watchtower, and i introduced her to the concept of cold reading.

  i think its good for people to understand this subject, something very important in exit-counseling, when people feel that a group or leader is right because they know so much that seems otherwise unknowable.

  i thought i would share this article for some of you who aren't familiar with the subject.randy.

The world would be a much happier place if it were full of individuals, not members of divisive organised communities or groups - and that includes All religious 'persuasions'.

  i found this website a few days ago, and ive stayed up until 3 and 4 a.m. every night since reading the all-too-familiar stories.

  i applaud you for sharing your stories and being so open and caring to others who venture onto this site.

  I'm so sorry for you - your upbringing and your being surrounded by your 'droning relatives'. Please remember, the greatest and most enduring aspect of your life is your individuality; hold on tight to it and never surrender it to anyone or any organisation. Don't waste your time and longings on those who choose to remain controlled. Move on. You'll find real happiness with others you've yet to encounter. Be yourself and keep away from ALL organised religion. Happy days lie ahead.

  the door to door work is a sham.. the central activity of the watchtower bible and tract society is not spreading their so-called "messege" about the kingdom of jehovah established in the heavens in 1914. that's a load of propaganda.. the door to door activity is feckless in producing converts.

  in fact, it is an immense failure of mammoth proportions!.

  but, it is a diversion.
